Dividend Growth Advisors, LLC has created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our commitment to the privacy of your personal information. These are our policies and procedures for gathering and using your nonpublic personal information.
INFORMATION COLLECTED AND DISCLOSED
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following: (1) applications and forms we receive from you, and (2) your transactions with us.
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated parties, except as permitted by law. Dividend Growth Advisors, LLC only uses this information to better service your account and provide you with information regarding your account. If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive investor, we will continue to adhere to this Privacy Policy. We restrict access to your nonpublic personal and financial information to those employees who need to know that information to provide service to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information.
SHREDDING
Any personal information about you or your account with us that is not needed to maintain your account is multi-directionally shredded before being securely discarded or recycled. We employ Iron Mountain Secure Shredding to perform SEC-compliant shredding on our premises.
INTERNET POLICY
Our website is for company information only and we do not allow personal information to be accessed. If you are interested, we will provide you with the information needed to access your account(s) through your bank custodian or clearing firm.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our website is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have obtained personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information from our records.
E-MAIL POLICY
On August 10, 2007, we began using an encryption service to increase the security of our email system. Even with encrypting, e-mail may not be a secure way of transmitting personal information. It is our policy not to ask you to submit your investments or personal information to us by e-mail.
POLICY CHANGES
From time to time, it may be necessary to change our Privacy Policy. We will immediately send you the revised privacy policy and post this policy on our website. The changes will then take effect immediately.
